Decommissioning and Disposal
As it is quite normal for systems to have a life cycle we also consider the 'end of life' situation. We can offer decommissioning and disposal of ‘end of life’ systems and antennae etc. Wherever possible, Lucas Projects will seek to re-use and recycle. This can be from a single piece to a whole antenna. In today's world, responsible disposal is very important. We can decommission and dispose of equipment to official registered centres. This sometimes involves toxic products for which we seek advice and use correct procedures.

Removal.
Transport of components and equipment shelters etc is a necessary consideration. Escorted wide loads, as seen in the picture below are sometimes unavoidable.

Repair and Re-instatement
Once a site or equipment area has been cleared we can re-instate to an original condition. This can involve redecoration, flooring, lighting etc. When all of the structure is cleared from a site it is often necessary to perform repairs and re-instatement. As shown below, this can include new curb stones, new tarmac and drain covers. What we always ensure is that the final site is left clean and safe to a standard acceptable to our customers.

Re-installation.
This brings the life cycle back to the start of this page. A new system, a new use, a new life....
We hope we have most engineering needs covered. We have not mentioned software as we don't specialise in it, but if you have a requirement we may be able to solve that too!
